“The Mansion House Inn has Western Victorian rooms”
The Historic Mansion House Inn was built in 1903 by retired Army surgeon, Dr. Howard Lott. The estimated cost of that home to build was $5,000. It has hand carved oak mantles, original leaded glass windows and boasts one of the most beautiful oak stair cases in Wyoming. Following Dr. Lott's death in 1913, Mrs. Lott opened her home and ran a boarding house for a number of years housing railroad families, providing school rooms when a local fire destroyed the school house, and preparing many delicious meals for locals and people passing through.
