It's a nicely maintained site. The caretakers are full of information and eager to help. The paths are great for hiking and jogging. The requested donation is like $5 per person to tour the one house on the site. Very much worth a look if you're in the area and have some time to kill in a pretty setting.
The grounds are really pretty and lots of space to picinic. We visited during COVID - 19 restrictions so nothing was open but were able to walk or bike the grounds. Grounds are well maintained , the only thing missing was a map of the grounds and a description or key of the numbered buildings. Would return if in area again during open hours.
Pleasant walk but there are nicer living history tours in the area for free so $5 not worth it.
