Great Lake! This park is an equal. Good amount of access to the lake, nice sites for camping. The bathrooms should be renamed "saunas", but they are at least clean.
One of the most beautiful hikes I have taken around the devil's waterhole - nice camping, good size sites, several lakefront sites, several close restrooms...all good. Another state recreation area 5 miles away with a tower and good views for a quick visit is nice too and can see a castle on the way to it.
Beautiful State Park with amazing views, great facilities and lots of opportunities to hike, fish or kayak.
We stayed there 3 days. We had a view on the lake. We were close by the restrooms/shower which looked brand new and super clean. Hot showers.
The devil’s hole trail is easy and very nice to do. Had a great time there.
This is a great camping park: lots of sites, good size, and great amenities (plenty of bathrooms, park store, kayak rentals, etc). We enjoyed hiking well marked trails. Ample lake access for swimming and bank fishing.
My husband and I had a great time visiting this weekend with our dog. Great hiking and it was nice to get in the water near Devil’s watering hole. We were fascinated by the geological formations around the area and we were glad to see a large turnout for one of the rangers programs that was starting as we headed out for the evening. We hope to camp next time we come back and look forward to seeing the primitive sites further.
