“a 343-acre public park and Japanese Garden”
Brackenridge Park Japanese Tea Gardens is a lush year-round garden and floral display featuring shaded walkways, stone bridges, 60-foot waterfall and attractive ponds. The gardens mesmerize and delight visitors to this natural oasis in Brackenridge Park. The Gardens are open 7 days a week from 8 AM until dusk
Went here with the whole family to have a nice afternoon get together. They have picnic tables which the park goers can use for free. This spot was just lovely for a quiet afternoon. There were a handful of kids running around and a good number of people who were walking their dogs. There were trees which provided good shade for everybody. We also had the chance to feed the ducks in the pond. It was a very fun activity especially for my nephews. This park is perfect for people who would just want to relax and have a quick escape from the busy city life.
Very pretty FREE park. Not that big but a nice place to get out of the car and explore for a bit. Paths are up and down so comfy shoes is a must. It is one of the few places that we found to be pet friendly.
This is one of the best parks we have visited. It was very quiet. Very peaceful. We didnt want to leave. There are so many photo opportunities here. Nature abounds. You really will thank yourself for stopping to see this one. If you are in the San Antonio area it is a must!
