A short, accessible walkway leads to the most spectacular view in all of Big Bend. The view, from the base of the mountain range, allows you to see the the whole canyon in all of its desert glory. Especially great at sunset- you can maybe even stick around and stargaze! Also a good hike for bird-watching.

The Big Bend National Park, is one of the most majestic parks in the USA. Harsh but yet brutally beautiful, it is the ideal place for all those adventurers seeking to find out themselves how may the 19th C. people may have felt like when travelling in the Far West.

The views are just breath-taking and one of the best spots to camp for the night (at your own risk and only if you are an experienced hiker) is close to the spot called 'The Window'.

Its name reveal exactly what this spot is all about. Standing there you will have great views of the whole canyon and the best time of the day is the sunset and night!!!! This place represents greatly the pure essence of Texas desert landscapes!!!
