We are blessed to live in the Gateway to the North Cascades! In our backyard lies the Alps of America and my favorite place to camp. We travel the US but the beauty of our back yard is hard to beat. Our favorite Campground in the US is Colonial Creek on Diablo Lake.
North Cascades was simply bliss, to say the least. I've never seen anything like it before in my short 21 years of living. It most certainly lands a spot in my top 5 favorite places I visited on my 2 month long road trip. I wish I could have stayed much longer! Diablo Lake/Creek is a must see while here!
Very attractive place. Seeing the place for the first time made me feel an instant connection. It seems like it was calling me and I couldn't do anything but respond. I was not disappointed.
So many hikes and so much wilderness but be prepared for the bugs!!
Great hiking and gorgeous sites. All the water is the prettiest water you will ever see! Mind blowing and pictures don’t do it justice!
North Cascades National Park is such a hidden beauty! It’s the most remote of the national parks in Washington State, and features amazing hiking trails and beautiful overlooks. It's seriously one of the most amazing national parks in Washington State.
Hike down to Ross Lake was worth it to take the boat out and see the mountains from a different perspective.
